Water Replacment!

Recommended Posts

Tried a few things, ranging from juice to concentrates, diluted milk, etc. Not worth the cleanup in my opinion. Never tried alcohol, as I cannot justify wasting it.

The previous owner of the hookah lounge I used to go to would put Bailies in the base with a mint on top... Was soo soo good. I just can't see myself wasting that much bailies on the session though, I'd rather drink it wink.gif

I agree, though I did just find like 6 liters of tonic water laying around- maybe I will try that. Maybe try a vodka tonic base instead of water? I've got some crappy smirnoff laying around anyway actually.

I've tried regular cola (not even Coca-cola or Pepsi, just a generic off-brand from the mart), and it wasn't bad. I'd highly recommend it if you're trying to broaden your horizons. Hell, you might even prefer it over water. Alcohol- never tried. I'm pretty picky when it comes to my drinks(not to mention I'd rather drink it than vaporize it), and I don't imagine I'd like any sort of cheap beer/liquor to sour the taste.

However: sweet tea ("leaf water", as my boyfriend calls it).. is now on my list.

I've tryed lots of stuff....except milk and coconut milk cause im sure its hella hard to clean. But alcohol isnt worth it. and pretty much nothing else is. The onl thing i have ever done that i liked besides using just straight water is using water and then adding a bag or two of tea. Its great if you dont mix it up before smoking cause you can taste the tea becoming stronger and stronger. Thats the only thing i recomend besides straight water.

Tried rum before at a friends place, didn't really add anything to the smoking experience. If anything I thought it was worse, but it could have been his set up as well. He claimed that you get a bigger "buzz", I failed to experience it.

I have used :

When smoking Jasmine: I put 1/2 red wine or merlot in with 1/2 water. ITs AWESOME !!!!!

When smoking Orange creme : I put 1/3 Orange juice in with water and it was perfect.

To make Fruit loops: I put Lemmon and Bluberry shisha in bowl, then 1/2 Orange juice 1/2 water in the Vase.

When Smoking Strawberry: I buy a cheap bottle of pink Champaigne and mix with water till it smells good. GREAT !!!!

And I tried putting a tiny bit of Vanilla extract in with water, while I was smoking Horchatta. 100% Awesome !

I've used wine and vodka in the past, but it's been about 5 or 6 years. I'm fine with just plain ol' h20.

I don't really use anything but water for the most part. The wanting to try every combination of everything in the base faded after scrubbing sugar/milk based liquid residue off my pipes too many times.. but I do toss a tea bag or two in the base every now and then.

Different teas depending on what I'm smoking, plus it's fun to watch the little bag float around. biggrin.gif
