Does Anyone Else Do This?

So I smoke usually 1 bowl, maybe two, per day -- sometimes I take a week break for whatever reason. But I notice, that when I'm in my routine, when I wake up from the night before, I clean my hookah with warm water and pack a bowl of whatever sounds good at that moment. I poke about 1/2 the holes I want in the bowl and let the whole hookah sit, pre-assembled, so that when I want to smoke later that day, I just move it to where I am and put the rest of the holes in it. I've noticed letting the shisha sit in the bowl for a few hours lets the flavor really come through, and the water to reach room temp, which seems to help both flavor and clouds. Just wondering if anyone else had routines like this?

no but maybe i will try it! the water in arizona is really really hard water so idk if i would leave it set in the vase maybe in a pyrex container or something!

i sometimes find my self doing that. I have soft water here in az so it can sit in there for a while.

letting your bowl sit out and "merinate" does seem to help, especially with mixes. brings the flavor out IMO. and room temp water should help too.

technically you're just letting the tobacco acclimate a bit in the bowl.

THere is nooooo way I could ever pack a bowl and NOT smoke it... What is that some sort of strange self deprevasion torture deal?
Brother here is the deal, put the baccy in the bowl, and get the smoke in my lungs,, ASAP. NO BEATiNG AROUND THE BUSH.

I gotta have Ice in my Vase here since I smoke outside and its usually like 80-85 Degrees. The Ice doesnt last more than 5-10 minutes anyway.

FCB have you been drinking again? :-P I like ice in the base too sometimes but warmer/room temp water intensifies the flavors, especially with SB. I figured I'd tell you since we seem to be the only two SB fans on this site :-P I'll let youknow how that code 69 and Pink work out. Drive safely back to MIA man

My habits are thus-

1- I almost always clean it BEFORE a smoke, rather than after. This is because I almost always use ice and frigid water.
2- I always blow everything out with the air compressor, all the pipes/tubes/valves etc.
3- I almost always poke my holes with a thumbtack to get many, but tiny holes. It has always worked like a charm with my Al Waha.
4- I almost always drink while I smoke, though normally just a beer or two.
5- I almost always listen to one of three bands: Say Anything; Better Than Ezra; or Creedence Clearwater Revival.
