Vladimir
Okay at least around here Layalina is more expensive than Al-Waha, but I have only smoked them once or twice. It was good but I didn't smoke these particular flavors. I am all for trying new things, but I'm not in the best financial situation and my smoking buddies are picky so for the moment I prefer to stick to smokes I KNOW are good. I was going to order two 250g containers of Al-Waha: Guava, and Watermelon. BUT I found a site with Layalina even cheaper, which sounds like a good deal since its normally more expensive! So anyone smoked both much at all? Is the Layalina watermelon and guava very similar (or better =D) than the Al-Waha? These two jars will last us probably a month (about 20 bowls) which is all I need at the moment... but since its a month's worth I obviously want to make sure I am getting good shisha! Thanks ! I dunno if it was just me, or that it was a 50g and i kept it wrapped up in the plastic bag it came in or what but I wasn't that impressed. AKammenzind
Layalina is a very good brand for milder, normally more natural-tasting flavors. My favorites are their watermelon, peach, and blackberry. If you're wanting a natural, mild tasting watermelon I'd say pick up some layalina, it's good stuff. SimplexCoda
i like both brands pretty decently. If you could get the layalina for cheaper now then i say go for it. I like layalina's watermellon and blackberry. But i also like AW california dream and 5 stars. But i would say that layalina is worth it. I never had a bowl taste like plastic either. Thats sayin something since almost all my bowls of SB have tasted that way.
Charley
simple get one pack of al and one pack of laya then if you dont like the laya at least you still have a pack of what you like. instead of getting two packs of something you dont know about
Tyler
Layaline Watermelon doesn't taste like watermelon, but it's a decent flavor. I prefer AW-Watermelon but Layalina is better quality overall IMO. Also I find that Layalina doesn't have as much as the raw tobbaco taste, which I don't like but others do, which is good for AW.
cotsi95
The best 2 flavors from layalina are raspberry and blackberry, the mint is ok too.

MrMoodz
I think I like Al Waha just a touch more than Layalina because Al Waha is unwashed.
4d1ct3d
Al Waha gives me headaches frequently :| Also, it's the only brand I've tryed that is so dyed that it gets my fingers red for HOURS!I haven't tryed Layalina yet but i've ordered a box of Layalina Mangosteen which inino recommended. It is on it's way to me now : )Personaly, I would just try Layalina (or Nakhla). Not the flavors you mentioned though.Mangosteen and raspberry seem like a good option based on the reviews trheads
Vladimir
Thanks guys, I opted to go a different route (you may have seen my other thread, "Upcoming Order"). I have had the Mangosteen and it was indeed good. If I recall correctly it was a mellow sweet flavor, nothing overpowering. I was actually really looking forward to mixing it with some Guava the other day but found out I was all out of the Mangosteen!

mustang_steve
Layalina is a strange shisha...it's flavor changes into a sweet mess if it's burning too hot. So instead of making you cough like AF does, it just tastes bad when too hot. That said, I love the stuff. Bahraini Apple is one of my favorite flavors from them.
