Zinite
i wouldn't smoke out of a rusty bowl, and at the very least would scrub the crap out of the pipe. decent pipes aren't expensive, it might be worth picking up a new pipe.

Zinite
Looks like a decent pipe... but it's tarnished as hell. Use it as a decorative item.
Vladimir
I wouldn't use it personally, you would want to try and clean all the rust off- and who knows if you succeeded or not on the inside of the pipe. Smoke in the lungs is one thing... rust cannot be good! The bowl would be easy enough to replace, but the pipe is the kicker.I vote: don't smoke it!EDIT: If you are trying to save money you could clean the vase out nicely and try to find a replacement stem assembly somewhere to buy. But that might not save much money depending on the style of hookah you would replace it with. Edited April 19, 2009 by Vladimir

antouwan
able to be salvaged. you need new parts and to shine that shit up. here's what i would do...if you care:1. check to make sure everything seals up correctly (make sure you have a bearing for the purge valve) if the shit doesn't seal up correctly, the following steps would be useless, and you just have to buy a new pipe2. DEEP, THOROUGH cleaning with soap and water and alcohol and God know's what3. shine/polish that shit.4. throw that bowl away and buy a small phunnel. buy a tray. buy a nammor/razan hose. buy grommets for said hose and bowl (and the stem if you don't already have one)it just needs a good cleaning and some TLC, after that, if you can get her clean, she should smoke well. keep us updated! EternalSoil
soak that bitch in some CLR or some other rust remover/cleaner.then soak it in hot water, then more hot water. then maybe run it through the dishwasher. <- to get all the CLR out and ensure all rust is gone.Polish that thing up real nice.get a new bowl and grab a tray.now you have a beautiful hookah!Smoke it. Stuie
QUOTE (shaffaaf27 @ Apr 19 2009, 05:31 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>give it to stuie he'll smoke anything hahahaha.... well I am big mya fan... I will smoke any shisha... but I never turn down a free hookah! Personally I would get some Naval Jelly and soak that bowl (but a new bowl is prefered) and use it to remove any possible rust from the hookah and get some polish and clean up that hookah. As long as it smokes good. It's a good hookah.
JByer323
I would say it's salvageable, but I would trash that bowl.
