There's a smoke shop at Southern and Val Vista right next to the the SafeWay (literally next door). I don't know the name, it just says SMOKE SHOP and I have not bothered to ask the name. When you walk in you are almost bound to trip over a shit ton of chinese hookahs. I have seen ONE Mya QT for $50 at one time, but that was about a month ago. It got sold apparently and I have not seen another MYA in there since. They also carry AF (pretty limited selection really) for like $12/250g and a wide selection of tubs of DejaVu for however much it's overpriced. I also get Exoticas from there for $10/box. Be warned, most of their shit is very expensive and the guy that's normally in there is kind of hard on English.

For anybody that's interested, they have a hookah with a clock in it (YES, A FUCKING CLOCK).

Sheesh, sounds like a waste of space in a strip mall and in the Go-To Places for hookah lovers eh???!!! Go figure, a shop in Gilbert sucks. Used to live there and found it to be strictly Soccer Mom Suburbia (aka a city that wouldn't have a clue about hookah culture) Thanks for the head's up!

Gee, they have a clock hookah...so I bet they have the LED hookah like I saw at Istanbul in Tempe...

You're completely right about that. This town has absolutely no awareness of the culture outside of its own (which is basically no culture at all). Gilbert is where culture comes to die in the meld of fake people and walled communities.

BUT... Southern & Val Vista is in Mesa, I catch your drift, it's close enough.

Well I'm done with Cafe Istanbul! Went there tonight and the old guy dogged me around the whole time and then demanded I put the shisha back that I was examining.

Now I look like a soccer mom. So I don't think it was cuz I'm hinky looking. Nope. The old guy demanded I stop examining the shisha. Apparently you're not allowed to touch the inside of a can. As in you can't examine the bag of shisha to see if it's got a lot of syrup.

So I told the english-speaking kid that worked there that I didn't want the shisha because of the old man's actions. What did the kid say? "Whatever floats your boat."

Fuck Cafe Istanbul. I'd rather pay $2.00 more for coals and shop somewhere else!!!

Just as another thread says...customer service here is HORRIBLE.

And they had some QTs for $50. 16 piece cocos for $5. They also had Epic Smoke for like $9/250, havana and pharaohs. New go-to shop.

AF is like 8.99 at Cafe Istanbul (service sucks tho beware)
Epic smoke is crap imo.
QT's online from John are 39.95 before discount.

You are talking about Tobacco +. The owner owns Hubbly Bubbly. Cool shop with pretty decent variety. I heard Haji Baba does Coconara for a good price.

They have GREAT customer service and there's no language barrier.

What's AWESOME is that this week they added both 50 and 200's of ALL of Fantasia shishas. $3.99 for the 50 (same price as Fusion is there); and $15.99 for 250 size.

They're getting Deja Vu in stock shortly.

They also have a HUGE number of Fusion's shishas in the 250 size, not so many in the 50's, but a good amount.

Apparently they've done a big jump in their business and are increasing their stock. In the next two weeks they say they'll start carrying natural coals (they don't now).

i just picked up some Deja vu, gonna try it when i get back to yuma. seems like a shisha i wont have ton acclimate since its made only 150 miles from me

A new smoke shop opened up right near my house at Tatum and Greenway near the safeway, have yet to check it out but they were advertising their hookah stuff... Gotta run by their sometime and see what they have.
