mustang_steve Posted April 20, 2009 Share Posted April 20, 2009 Yes, all it takes is one fool to ruin it all.Folks need to realize to be as non specific as possible with shisha related pay pal orders....honestly, the best thing for this forum is to not even use the term paypal and dance around it....since that will attract their attention.Of course the best method for GBs is check, and waiting for it to clear before sending anything out...but that leaves no buyer protection outside of legal action....it does however prevent the infamous paypal account freeze. I know several members of cigar/pipe forums who had their account locked after pp found out they belonged to a certain forum by doing some kind of a search for their own name. when they read a post like 'p**p** sent!' without the edits it doesnt take long to shut down your account. I mean, if someone just felt like being an ass, they can just find where you want payment sent (as posting in the thread, at least SPS did) and even if they aren't buying something, they could just paypal you like $1 or something and put the naughty words in and bam, your account is froze. Ya, some of you may say "why would someone do that?" and my answer is "there are plenty of assholes out there who enjoy pissing people off, even at the expense of $1."
