Also, it's fun to see people who have been smoking for years have a new experience which you'd think would be tough given the fact that you're smoking tobacco out of a pipe.... But yeah one day I would love to meet up with the forum members and smoke with everyone here and learn technique from them on how they set up there bowls..Because Voski I never get 4 hour bowls haha and that is something I need to learn in real life not over videos. I just got a windcover and it certainly helps a lot when the coals.My tangiers bowl packing usually lasts about an hour and a half to two hours in a small recently because I changed my technique and coal cutting (exoticas) But starbuzz really burns up and loses flavor quick with me 30 min to an hour is all I really can get out of it haha.So yeah one day I would love to meet up with everyone and have a hookah time! About the worst that has ever happened is that I will walk away from the table for a bit (only with the hookah under the supervision of people I trust) and someone will put the coal back on the bowl if it falls off. A couple of the people who smoke with me fairly often know that coals don't go over the center of the bowl but most don't.Also I think teaching people how do set up a hookah correctly is part of the fun. I now have friends that are fully capable of packing tangiers with virtually no supervision on my part. IT also makes set up go faster when you have people who can help you with little odds and ends. redjako Posted April 20, 2009 Share Posted April 20, 2009 A lot of people can handle more harshness, I think due to the proliferation (here in SLC, the hookah lounges at least) of steel plates and crap coals.If I leave a party for a bit (beer run) more often then not its just harsh to hell, but people are still tugging away (phunnels ftw).Friends have setup my hookah, and others have left it in shambles (all gooed up and disgusting) the next morning, so yeh, there not allowed anymore Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That would be fucking epic. Could you imagine 100 people in those relaxing chairs on the deck with hookahs all lined up to them...i wonder if we'd make a smoke cloud lol! Zyram Posted May 1, 2009 Share Posted May 1, 2009 I agree, I was in a Hookah lounge a few weeks ago, and I was trying to talk to the employees about hookahs... most of them smoke only cigarettes, and even the owner looked at me funny when I was asking him detailed questions about the stuff. The price they charged for the hookahs they sold (which were pretty much crap) was just astounding as well. They do have nice hookahs though, in fact I got one of the old ones (after a thorough inspection folks, it's a good one) for $35 and it's a really good one. Stands almost 40 inches, where my old one was only about 18inches so I really dig it. Draws like a champ, I am just waiting for some more tangiers which I am hoping will be here tomorrow and I'll be smokin it all weekend.About a HF meetup, if I ever win the lotto, or even if not, I do have a nice idea. My Grandfather built and owns a golf course in Texas, and I was thinking we could have a HF golf tournament some time. I have no idea if anyone here likes golf or what not, but I could get us some good pricing on holding it and I was also thinking we could play for Hookah related prizes (shisha, coals, pipes etc). Anyways just tossing that out there for some time in the future and to guage possible interest.
