kahipa
Hi whats up everybody, I just recently bought my first khalil mamoon hookah online and received it today. I noticed that the paint on the base of the hookah wears off, is this normal?Any feedback would be appreciated, thanks!
modisess
yeah, pretty normal.. the paint on my km vase is almost completely gone now.. i don't mind, i like a plain base.. but try spraying some clear coat paint on the base.
kahipa
Oh okay awesome, I got worried for a little bit there. Thanks for clearing it up
antouwan
yeah, it's really normal. the only thing you can do besides spraying some clear coat on there is just be very gentle when drying after cleaning and what not and just try to handle it as little as possible

Sonthert
Its not normal, but jars have been getting crummier, across the board. especially KM jars. MZ jars are pretty tight. Some jars are painted and it wears right off when put into contact with water. Call the vendor and tell them you're not happy. See what they say. Scoop
i have a great idea. wait till the vase fully peels then redraw what was originally on it...if you do call the vendors complaining let us know what they say. i think its kind of messed up too
delSol_si
My vase did the same thing before it broke in half(got it from John). First time I washed it paint started coming off, then after I used Listerine to clean it, the paint REALLY came off. But it is broke now so whatever. Plus, I don't use my hookah for show, just to smoke. Edited April 22, 2009 by delSol_si

Sonthert
Well, what I do to remove the peeling off stuff is use a spatula, or a putty knife to remove it...I've done that to several jars.
