Bad Day In L.a.

1. It's 98 freaking degrees here and too hot to smoke until about midnight and I have a new shimpment in I could only try one bowl of when it got here at 11:00 a.m.;
2. The one bowl was Fumari Pineapple and it's sucks - maybe because it was warm when I took it out of the box thanks to riding around in a UPS truck this morning;
3. I'm low on coals so I jump in the car to go pick some up locally and the water pump pulley in my car starts squealing again (intermitent problem) and yes I'm going to replace it but couldn't do it today;
4. While acclimating the three tubs of Al Waha in this morning's shipment, my Siamese cat Kabuki decided it's too hot to eat cat food, why not try the nice cool wet tobacco? Stupid cat is now on a serious nicotine buzz running around chasing the other cat who's twice his size around the apartment. He's done this before - he'll be fine in a couple hours since he didn't eat much and threw most of it up - on my new sneakers. But in the meantime he's driving me nuts. He's accidently scratched me twice pushing off my lap in a swan dive onto my other cats head and she's about to beat the crap out of him.

I'm going to find cold beer, I'm going to wait until it cools off and I'm going to smoke and try to pretend today never happened. After I turn Kabuki into a small throw rug.

Tomorrow definitely promises to be better. I have Tangiers arriving from HC, the weather report says it's going to drop 20 degrees in the next 48 hours, 12 of it tomorrow, and Kabuki finally ran out of steam and is now belly up and snoring, yes snoring, in the coolness of the cast iron bath tub......Peace at last!

i agree. bad day. i only have orange soda and uber mint, both of which sat in my car for 2 weeks in the heat at one point. i need new tobacco =/

I feel you. KM base broken, midterm gone wrong, cars fucked up, hookah sucks right now, its too damn hot (although i guess at 90 i shouldnt complain for being right by the beach), half my stuff was almost gone, and a glass bottle of olive oil decided to commit suicide on my foot.
Were in this together i guess...better luck tommorow

LOL! That sucks...my roomates dumb Chihuahua got some tangiers once...it went insane. Funnier then being a drunk Chihuahua (also my fault).

Agree it was way hot today.  I started smoking at like 10:30 pm and it was okay. I don't think my tobacco was ready for the heat wave.

Wow, that's the pits.

My dog used to eat tobacco... he passed before I got my first hookah, but I can imagine what a nightmare it would have been if I'd had tons of even better smelling tobacco around the house. It would have been murder for him!

I had the worst smoking sessions last night. Im in LA too. I had a migrane!!!!!
No matter what I did I felt like I was getting too much air. It fustrated me to no end!!!!!!!

I think yesterday was just a cursed day.
Today I will go home and try again.

I'm on my last bowl of tangiers... all the scraps I could stick together barely got my small funnel full enough. I am going to order more soon, but I will be at least a week with no tangiers... and the place locally here has only HH and this Rosetta stuff that I'm not too big on. I also just found some starbuzz apple, maybe there's some hope, but I needs mah Tangiers!

Speaking of Tangiers, I have only got the Lucid line to smoke well. That being said my k-cherry is out of stock. I have been smoking a GODLY mix of horchata and cocoa lucid.....wow.

So what do I have at my door? It will be an intersting night..............OG K-Cherry and OG Sour.........
