Scalliwag Posted April 21, 2009 Share Posted April 21, 2009 I took some pics of a bowl that is getting ready to ship since it was a good opportunity to show how to set it up when it arrives. There are two option, one is using it as a phunnel and the other is using it as a standard bowl but allowing the air to travel through all the shisha with none wasted by not being in that path.The first pic is the parts involved. The first piece to the left as you may have guessed and are still laughing about is the mod. Let's see how quick somebody points out what I used for that The second is the bowl then the conventional mod, then phunnel tube with food grade high temp silicone o-ring which allows for height adjustment (there is a groove the o-ring rests in) Then the tea candle foil.For conventional smoke flip the conv mod upside down and put it in the bowl, load it and put the coal bucket (candle foil) on top. I have found that breaking up a coal and putting it in works fantastic. Be sure to allow 3/16" an inch or so air space between the shisha.For phunnel smoke put the phunnel tube in the bottom of the bowl. Leave it sticking up about 1/4" or so. Put the bell, I mean mod on top of that. Fill the shisha to the top of the bell but bell the tab sticking up on the top. The coal bucket sits on that. I know you're a busy guy so no worries it's just been a while since I saw an update.
