Matt-641
With the phunnel mod, it doesn't seem to last quite as long. We had my QT with this bowl and my friend's 20 something inch hookah with a glass miniphunnel and his seemed to last a fair deal longer (obviously there is more shisha in his bowl). Tangiers in both bowls as well. I think the phunnel mod would be great if you only want like a 30-45min session, but otherwise I think the conventional is the way to go. You still save a bunch of shisha even just using the conventional set up.I am hoping to go to a lounge sometime again soon (havn't been to one in at least a year) b/c the one we used to go to closed due to the owner's poor business skills. Like I said, the hose dongle would be a great conversation piece and it's small enouph it looks just like a necklace.
Scalliwag
I made a little handle setup for a coal bucket using one of the strainers. I still like the stainless shotglass looking cup more. Here is a pic of what it looks like. You definately have to break the coals up to use it. BTW I still have two bowls from the first group left. They are pictured here Edited May 3, 2009 by Scalliwag

Scalliwag
After thinking about Rani talking about ghosting could be a good thing and me liking to soak the bowls in olive oil because I think it will add to to lifespan of the bowl I decided to do an experiment.I noticed you can taste the olive oil a little when you start smoking so I figured trying flavored olive oil would be cool to see what happens. So I soaked the bowl in some vanilla flavored olive oil and after wiping it down good it was smellin really vanilly so I loaded it with Mizo Peach and sure as shit I could taste vanilla Since vanilla is a weak flavor I'm gonna try peach and see it it helps spike flavors. That would be pretty neat I think.
