Smoking Some Nakhla Like The Good Old Days

Recommended Posts

Lately I've been on a binge of smoking AF/SB... wanting to try as many flavors as possible. Today, I had a craving for some good ol' Nakhla, which I used to smoke back in the day.

I picked up a 250g Sweet Melon from a local shop. Just had a session with my roomies... went really well. I added half a teaspoon of glycerine, and it smoked well.

If you add glycerine, how much would you normally add to a 250g Nakhla? I'm thinking I can safely add a bit more, but I don't want to put too much and ruin it.

What do you guys think?

I'm gonna try adding some more glycerine now... seems like I've got a bit of room to work with. Steeeeeeeeeeeeeeeve (don't wanna offend by accidentally giving less e's than required) suggested I mix with some AF juice, and adding some lemon juice. I've got a bowls worth of sweet melon with AF watermelon juice and a hint of lime smile.gif Let's see how it goes

BAH!!

AF watermelon has got to be the worst thing to extract juice from imo. If you like the new mixture of it though then it won't be bad for you ;D

Honestly, the best way to add glycerine to Nakhla is to just add enough to make it as wet as say AF, but only do it for as much shisha as you're smoking right then. Adding glycerine to the entire thing at once is kind of wasteful unless you keep your shisha completely airtight because it will tend to dry out a bit again.

The way to go really is just by feel, you can't go wrong. Mix it up with your fingers adding a little at a time and you'll know when it's right.
