mikecsy
Hey guys,As great as Nakhla is, i was getting tired of it so i decided to venture out to the middle eastern part of town here in Seoul. I walk in a turkish super market, and what do i find? Serbetli tobacco from Turkey! As overpriced as it was, i decided to give it a go so I bought the Red Apple. It's REALLY juicy and smells quite different from Nakhla DA, more sweet and less anise-like. Anyways, I tried my first batch last night and it is simply amazing. I remember someone put up a post a few months back saying smoking serbetli is like "getting a bite of a real fruit" and i certainly have to agree. The plumes of smoke were amazing too.I find that not many people on this forum talk about Serbetli much.. If you can get your hands on some, it's a must-get! Boricua
UGh thanks for the torture.I bought some Serbetli Mint in Istanbul and it's probably some of the best shisha (certainly the best Mint) I have ever had. I've been trying to find it like crazy ever since

JByer323
Man, I've never even heard of it, and now I'm intrigued. Gonna have to see if I can have a friend bring some back with him.

AKammenzind
Ugh... the reason you don't see people here talking about serbetli is because most of us live in the US and it's just plain not available here. Thanks for rubbing salt in my eyes again lol

I am just gonna have to wait.I found a German site that carries it and was willing to ship it over here. It was going to be like $100 for 1 kilo of it (including the 33 euros for shipping)I am still considering it.... Only thing if I've heard the Serbetli sold in Germany is not as 'wet' as the one straight from Turkey because of some German restriction on the tobacco.Ugh... I can't wait for someone to carry it in the US.I wish John or some other provider here could tell us why Serbetli isn't available here.
