What Herbal Shisha Do You Prefer?

Recommended Posts

A few years ago I found a hookah in the trunk of my car biggrin.gif I set it up and put it in the corner of my room ontop of a bookshelf and waited for a friend to claim it. Well its been like 3 years now so I guess I just forgot about it tongue.gif

Anyways I have ordered alot of 50g boxes of alot of different brands of shisha from two different sites, and am anxiously waiting for them the arrive. So as I was waiting, I was curious which of the Herbal shisha's people prefered. Most of the shisha's I ordered are tobacco, but there are lots of topics about them for me to read.

The two Herbal shisha's I ordered are several flavors of Soex and Saalaam.
Which do you guys prefer? and are there any others? Edited by Grand Nagus Zek

Soex is absolute crap. Saalaam isn't that bad but I have only tried the Key Lime Pie. In my opinion Hydro Herbal Shisha takes the lead. It's the only herbal shisha I would consider smoking. I have had blueberry, blackberry, grape, and orange. All of them were okay, they actually had flavor unlike most herbal shishas. Herbal shisha kind of sucks compared to actual shisha tobacco but if you want to go the herbal route I would consider Hydro Herbal Shisha.

I think you are going to get few replies that are on topic because most of us think ANY herbal shisha is pretty nasty. They use sugar cane fibre instead of tobacco and to be quite honest, is smoking wood any better for you?

Every Soex flavour I have tried has been pretty bad of the 15-20 minutes itactually HAD a flavour. Never tried any of the others. Check the shisha review section.

I put Herbal Brands in this Order Best to Worst....

Hydro (Best)
Saalaam
Hookah Hookah Black Label
Soex
High-Life Smoke (Worst)

I actually like most Hydro and Saalaam I have had. But that sugar cane takes getting use to.

Scalli's will top the list when ever it finally makes it out!

On the rare occasion I do smoke "herbal" (and I use the term loosely, because like mush said, its wood/bagasse)
I like Salaam. The Spiced Chai is amazing and would smoke this regularly if there was a tobacco equivalent.

there was a thread a while back about the herbal stuff causing some kind of fibrous effect to the lungs which was really bad.

the only one i have tried was saalaam and it was good smoke, good flavor, retched after taste. have something to drink is all i can say.
