mycompstinks
Hey all, I just got an awesome KM Tri-metal from HC. It's a great smoke, but I was wondering what I can do to polish up the outside and make it picture ready. What kind of stuff is OK to use on the brass/steel/copper/tri-metalness? I read in some thread about car wax but I just wanted to be sure about it.
Punx Clever
Brasso would probably do the trick.http://www.reckittprofessional.com/product...p;searchType=STsays all of those metals right on the website
Zinite
Brasso and a polishing cloth.Another good one, if you don't want to go to a hardware store and get Brasso, is to make a baking soda paste (fill a small cup half way with baking soda, then slowly add 1 ounce of water at a time til it's the consistency of tooth paste) . Rub it in really well with a rough wash cloth, then polish it out with a polishing cloth.

mycompstinks
Well I don't know about the sperm thing.... the whole act of collecting it for that use, besides from the fact that I would actually have to clean with it are both a bit too far out there for me... I think I can stick with the Brasso idea. Thanks for the suggestions. Would Brasso be fine on a MYA stem also? I'm guessing yes, but I'd hate to ruin it. Thanks again! MechAnt
Brasso or Turtle Wax like suggested before. You can home make one that works excellently.Water, flour, powder laundry detergent, salt. Look it up online for the exact ratios. Works beautifully
mustang_steve
MAAS, the only polishing compound I'll use anymore...it works SO much better than brasso.Just use a little bit and some paper towels...you'll get an incredible shine.
