how much does the mini one that sold out a few months ago hold?

how about the mini glass one from MNH?

medium one for tangiers? and large one from tangeirs?

i'm looking to buy one for my own use, most likely the MNH one.

then i was thinking of buying the tangeirs phunnel for 4-7 ppl to smoke.

I'm a broke college student.....saving shisha is a big plus.

+1.. John, the reason why I requested it when I ordered from you recently is because I don't want to waste shisha and I usually smoke alone. My sessions last maybe an hour and a half to 2 hours tops, because I'm usually busy with a million other things....

I love having a mini phunnel because I don't have the urge to smoke for more than 2 hours at a time. I just get bored with it after a while, and like others have said being broke effects how much money I can spend on coals and shisha.

im thinking about investing in a small. I can only pack a good bowl of tangeirs 40% of the time . just bout some mc from john friday and i have mayby 2-3 bowls left (large) so saving some shisha sound appealing. also I smoke almost all my shisha from my phunnel and i normally like to smoke 20-40 in afternoons and 30 to an hour at night solo or with my girlfriend

We got in an MZ at the lounge the other day with an egyptian bowl on it that absolutely blew my mind. It's head was only about an inch in diameter! We thought it was the funniest thing ever and coined the tagline, "for the smoker on the go!" This was the joke of the night and we got laughs from everyone we showed it to, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized I NEEDED THAT BOWL!

Like many of you probably are, I AM a smoker on the go. Everyday, I go home on my lunch hour and load a bowl to smoke for about 45min. I feel very wasteful loading a phunnel for that amount of time.

I'm not sure why the mini phunnel hasn't become a regular Tangiers product. I'd even go so far as to prefer a mini super-chief and just pack it like a traditional bowl. I think a bowl with like a 8-10g capacity would be fantastic. I mean, I'd buy one. smile.gif

I much prefer the large, the smoke is fatter from a large. If you don't use all the tobacco, you can relight it or just scrape the top dry layer and repack it, using the old bottom.

I have never smoked a large, but I can say that I preffer my Med over my small anyday. It just smokes better, more smoke, fuller clouds. And I do like Eric says, I just take off the coals when I'm done. When I wnat to smoke again I just put new coals on. It actually saves me shisha this way. And the time of repacking a bowl..

That is all..

It seems fit we resurect old threads from the dead just before Halloween..

i think its cause not many would pay $30+ shipping just for a bowl

Yeah I would have to say its great for saving shisha, the session doesn't last too long, and it saves coals. I like to clean my hookah and bowl out after every session so i don't like leaving tobacco in there to caramlize and harden. I rather just put a fresh batch in smoke it when I want to smoke. I also don't smoke for long periods, maybe 30min to an hour.

I love using my Mini Olive wood bowl and mini mnh glass bowls, but if I could find a mini tangiers for 30+ shipping I would buy it. I have two large phunnels and they both smoke way too long and way too much tobacco.

So yeah that why.

Here's my problem for the last, I don't know, long ass time. Every time i put a second round of coals on.... Tastes like ash and smokes HARSH! so little waste of shisha is a plus.

Thats true. My olive wood bowl can go with one CH quick light on there and I can smoke it down pretty good then probably get another coal on there. I can get that bowl to smoke with less than 10g of shisha for about and hour to an hour and half. The MNH mini isn't as great and it probably will hold 15-20g packed and smokes for a good bit but heating it up takes a minute. I can't wait to try a Tangiers one day and see what thats like. Everyone says its smokes really good.

I NEVER once have been able to cake a tangiers bowl from top to bottom. The other night I did a marathon 5 gc sticks on ILTOBC w/ a medium phunnel and there was still ~30% left in the bowl. The issue I have with the medium phunnel is that I don't really get to the point where it's like "ok I'll pack a new bowl" which is something that I love doing in social settings. IMO you want to throw around as many flavors as possible when you're socially smoking, it adds to the experience big time especially for non-regular smokers (or non-tangiers smokers _sheesha2__by_Majunka_aurore.gif ).

I think larger bowls for Tangiers isn't a big deal. You can put the juicy tobacco back in the tube or pack fresh on top. And they sell smallest with 250g. But I also like buying 50g packages of different stuff to try it. If you pack a small you almost need the hole 50g. This leaves no room for a fail, because you don't have enough left for a second bowl. Buying 250g unknown shisha and realizing you don't like it is anoying. I like the mini for short sessions and try-outs.

If they were put into regular production as opposed to special run status, I'm sure the price would be comparable to a phunnel.

I have the same problem as everyone else - my sessions are seldomly marathon grade. I need a bowl that is designed to smoke for 30 min to an hour. I really like the idea of a super-chief because even though the holes are in the bottom of the bowl, the slight trough would seem to help to prevent the normal problem of the juices running into the base in a trad style head.

Watching the anticipation and subsequent ordering mania that existed with Eric's limited mini-phunnel run, I'm sure I'm not alone on this.

I personally miss my first small phunnel bowl. It was the same diameter as a recent medium, but deeper and could smoke 3 full sets of coals with AF. Now, I'm lucky to get 2 out of a medium. Thats part of the reason I put my mini up for trade, great bowl, I just like to smoke longer. Want a shorter session? Try an Egyptian head, I promise they work great.

Yes, but you get a juicy mess, especially with Tangiers. +1 for minis being a regular product.
