I am just wondering what everyones go to setup consist of to get huge clouds and flavor: the type of bowl, the type of coals and how many, the type of hose as well as base.

As for me, i usually use a vortex bowl with 3 cocos, a nammor hose and a windcover later on and i get huge clouds.

For me, I keep it simple.

MZ, Nour, or KM
Razan Hose
Egyptian Bowl
3 or 4 jap coals
Cold tap water

Great clouds and flavor.

I like to use tangier's small phunnel bowl, with 2 cocos and use tangiers. Gives me the best smoke ever

I don't believe in go-to setups, it really depends on my mood. Partly because I smoke a very wide range of tobacco, and what hookah/bowl I use depends on what I feel like smoking... no such thing as a silver bullet and all that.

if I am going to smoke with other people(not at my desk), KM...

QT Base. Bambino stem. Med Phunnel. 2 3K to start, 1 3K after that. Room Temp water. SB Shisha. Best flavor, clouds, smoke, ever. Ever.

Mya Bambino, Nammor hose, standard Mya bowl, loads of AF, two 3Ks.

KM 3 hose Double Pear, small phunnel, tangiers lucid, 3 coco's, heavy duty foil and proceed to fill the room with smoke.

I use this set up if I'm alone but if someone wants to join in, I just pop out the stopper and hook up another hose, it works out great.

My only setup:

Brass Glyph, soon ot have hose port bored out for even better draw
chinese phunnel (will get a tangiers one later)
KM hose, mouthpiece is internally flared out of preference

clouds are as big as your lungs can handle.

If I cant think of anything else to smoke this is how I would normally setup. I have never had a bad session with this setup.
