Packaging For Starbuzz

Recommended Posts

so i've bought a few tins of starbuzz.. i love the flavors so far.. my only concern is with the packaging..
i understand the air tight method for the tin.. but the plastic wrapping that is used for holding the shisha always gets super slimy..
is there any way to extract and pack my hookah bowls without having to get my hands dirty all the time? i can use a set of clean tongs but eventually, the juices start leaking out into the second layer of the wrapping

Use a fork.

If you don't want to mess with the packaging then open it completely and empty contents into the tin. Proceed to use fork to pack it into bowl.

I personally unpack the plastic package into the tins directly. You don't get your fingers dirty, easy access, and the shisha stays just fine. There's no need to keep it in a plastic bag IMO.

Yeah, agreed. That's always what I do. The can is airtight enough already

LOL @ Costi....that's why one of my rules is that I always set up my hookah by a sink smile.gif

But yeah, I'm probably the biggest and (only) SB fanatic on this forum, definately just discard the plastic and put the shisha right into the tins. They keep the shisha perfectly.

UHM EHEM,,, The "ONLY" Sb fanatic? I dont think so... BUt I do think you comprise 50% of the Sb loving population wink.gif

As far as storing SB just get you some of these plastic tubs and dump the shisha in there when you open it up (be sure to get all of the juices). I find that storing the shisha in the actual tin for long period of time can dry the shisha out (the tin is not air tight).

33.3 tongue.gif

I just push all the shisha to the bottom and slice the top of the bag off then ziploc it.

25%

I had ~15 flavors at one point. Now I'm broke sad.gif .

I also find the flavors taste best when kept in the tin can. I've used mason jars, both glass and plastic, as well as double wrapped bags placed inside the tin. I still think the tin's the best option.

I received SB Kiwi Strawberry last 4 days ago, unpacked it and smoked the first bowl. It was not so good, tasted very chemically. I decided to let it "acclimate" (do you do this with SB?); after about 2 hours of being open it was perfect.

Also, I got the 250g kiwi strawberry tin on Friday, it was gone yesterday sad.gif . I smoke too much. Edited by karrotx

I do the same thing after I had some oxidation issues with a few of the tins. Now everything goes into heavy duty plastic wear I get at the 99 cent only store.

Storing it in the tins is a good way to keep SB. My bar just dumps the bag into the can and leaves it. We never have any issues with the tobacco drying out...
