Real Jap Coals...but Not What You Think ...

Recommended Posts

I didn't like them too much, but I heard they've improved. I found them to be on quality par with Diamantes of the olden days...not bad, but overpriced.

Like Syrian Hookahs, there are good ones and bad ones.

I found them at a local store once for about five dollars. I bought all they had (2 boxes). They were pretty good so I told the owner of the store to get some more of the charcoal with the rose on them. He smiled at me. It was a smile that said in so many words (or I guess none at all) "I don't know what the hell you are talking about and you need to leave now because I have more costumers."

I hate it when I get that smile from store owners!

Anyway, the point is I thought they were excellent, but as I said, I got them for 5 bucks....

Karabetian used to distribute them, Mike. Try them...they're just south of Glendale, off Fletcher, and San Fernando, a little street called Crystal Pl. I don't know if they'll sell retail, but you can find out who sells them.
