Hookah For My Home, What To Start Out With?

Hi all,

Tried hookah for the first time and really enjoyed it. I'd like to get one for my home now. Do you guys have any suggestions for a new user? What else to I need besides the hookah, coals, and tobacco?

If you want a good quality egyptian pipe you can go with a Khalil Mamoon or a Magdy Zidan, both of which also come in multihose varieties.

If you want a traditional syrian pipe get a Nour or an Al Fakher pipe.

If you want something more modern go with a Mya Saray, which are chinese made but GREAT quality and can convert from 1 hose to multihose.

Narrow it down a little for us so we can help a bit more...what styles do you like, size, etc etc.

Also, are you looking to buy from a local shop, or are you willing to buy online?

I'd recommend trying online, as we have many excellent vendors with great prices and more selection of good stuff than you could find in most local shops.

i think you should go online at hookahshisha.com, hookahcompany.com, or hookahjohn.com and look for a smaller mya like the QT easy to maintain or a nice mid size KM both smoke well. id get a new hose either a KM, Razan, or grand washable which will increase the amount of smoke you can pull out of the hookah. i would also invest in a small tangiers phunnel and a small mod or egyption bowl for solo smokes. as for coals there are a bunch of good one cocnara's or CH natural or quicklite. just read the reviews in the review section for hookah, shisha, and coals and you'll be fine

ya pretty much what are you looking for, tradtional? modern? size? price range? how many people will be smoking it regularly? if you can please answer these questions we can easily help you out. and you wont need anything other than coals and tobacco, unless you want to upgrade your bowl to a phunnel. some pipes on hookahcompany.com already come with phunnels too.

If your looking for a small cheap hookah, my recommendation is the Mya Bambino. For 55$ you will get a great hookah thats amazingly portable, hits like a champ, and for the price just cant be beat.
Optional accessories I would suggest, a Phunnel Bowl, Wind Cover, and Diffuser.
