ramsizzle
got this baby for dirt cheap by united states standards today and also saw the same stem with an all chrome and gold where the brass is ...absolutely beautiful. also got a few 250's of my usual smoke al fakher mint, and a few boxes of the starlight cocos. as i show a little lower they changed the box and added two coals. these coals are the best dirt cheap and do the job. Click
That's a lucky find. What city you live in?Is that tray brass or stainless steel? Can't tell by the lighting.
Victim026
Beware the new box style with the starlight coco's, every new box i've gotten 1 in 3 coals has fallen apart.
ramsizzle
the tray is the stainless steel i think the brass have much more detail going on on the outer of the tray, and i live in chicago. and regarding the coals, really? i got them for 3.79 a piece so its not bad but still the older boxes were greattt
Victim026
I know I'm an avid fan of the starlight cocos, and for a few days my local retailer only had the new boxes and I picked up 3. All 3 boxes have had this coal breakage problem, they break horizonatally into about 5 layers that are thing and only last a few minutes. But like I said it's maybe 1 in every 3 coals out of the box, I just though it was odd because I've NEVER seen them split that way in the old boxes. thecyrax
This is the same stem as the sig ice w/o the ice chamber correct?
Scoop
the sig ice is just stainless steel. its closer to the pharonie, but its way lighter (in terms of weigh) and lower quality imo. (i have one as well)
thecyrax
I know the material difference...Are you saying this is lighter/lower quality than the pharonie or the sig ice?I know the sig ice is rather light, but I figured this being a tri-metal it would be much heavier... Rani
I have the same "original" style tri-metal stem. It's smoked like a dream for well over a year. In fact I've been smoking it exclusively for the last month. You got a great deal that will last you a long time.'Rani
