Cotsi just a couple questions...

1. Isn't it fun being passive aggressive?
QUOTE (cotsi95 @ May 1 2009, 09:54 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Ok well first the nammors are .5 id and the tips on them are WAY LESS i wanna say like .25 these have a MUCH wider tip and can be FULLY customizable. Im probably the toughest person to please on here when it comes to hoses, i have like 8 that i will only smoke on and thats because ive moded them all. These hoses are seriously awesome I guess if you dont want them then ok but I figured that people would like a hose that is washable and DOESNT FALL APART!!!!! but i guess i was wrong, oh and for the people that are local pm me and you can try one out.

2. I don't know if anyone else thought of this but when you say "chemical treated" what chemicals in my inhaling in with these hoses?

3. Is there any degradation or latent chemical reaction?

I like them especially the one with the wooden tips and yellow tube. and for all you criticizing the mans work lets see you make a hose of the same quality for the same price. to me scallies hoses seem like a luxury item where as these seem more like an everyday item. a cheaper alternative to nammor or razan.

JFTR... I am not critizing.

A. They look okay to me, just not my cup of tea.

B. If I try one I may change my opinion

3. I got 30 something hoses hanging in my closet right now. Not sure I really need a new one. (yes the 3 was on purpose)

The plastic tip is the one thing throwing me off, Ive seen hoses with tips like that, they get leaks if you bang them a few times. or right at the seem where you connect the handle to the hose if it bends could leak. Im comparing it in my head to this disposable hose that looks just like it, but if I tried it I might be wrong.

I would be really interested in trying one. I've been meaning to pick up a couple more razon's but with the first one i got the grip on the handle started falling off after like a week. if i could get the wooden handles with the .5 id and flexible for around, or less than the price of a razon i'd be all over it. Looks good man just let us know when you get them up and going.

How flexible are these?

1. Yes

2. The material that my friend uses reacts differently to certain chemicals, the material is dipped in a certain chemical for say 10 sec depending on the color desired, then it soaked in water to wash the chemical off, the tubing is food grade and is completely safe.

3.No the material he uses is food safe like i said and wont break down.

I can assure you that it wont leak, weve been trying to break one and we cant. Tomorrow ill post a vid of us smoking with one, taking it off the hookah running it (the tip) over with my jeep and using it again.

Good to know stuie, Im using one that is a .5 id and 3/8 on the tips there is NO restriction on my km its ridiculous. Oh and i measured the tips on nammors they are .275.

The tips arnt removable but there isnt an issue to clean them since the opening is much larger.

The metal pieces wont rust since they are SS or Brass depending on what u want.

its a MUCH larger opening they match the opening on the tip so there is no restriction.

The plastic one's are iffy for me but I like the orange with the wood hose.

Can you make different colored plastic? I think it's the color that I don't like...

I may be new and all that, but I would definitely try one out. I dislike the idea of hoses that cannot be washed. My goal right now is to get a QT - we have two cats and a dog, so stability is a must at my house. I especially liked the wood mouthpiece with the fuzzy. =) I would definitely want one of these when you start selling them.

Working on trying to dye the plastic, should be coming soon. I REALLY want a black hose with black plastic and brass fittings

Kind of curious still here as the Caravan end that goes into a Mya hose adapter is massive and it would be optimal I think if it was a bit of a better fit. But the Caravan ends are wrapped in a big chunk of plastic.. Would love to see or hear about the fitment of this hose into a Mya hose adapter vs. some of the other bigger hoses.

I think I've heard you talk about Caravans before so I'm sure you know what I'm talkin' about here.

Cheers!

Cool stuff you got going Cots smile.gif Especially for what is out there on the market man. Mine won't compete with yours in the price you posted. I'm focusing on a high end market that I know will b a setback as far as sales are concerned.
It looks like you will really drive against the status que and are bringing something to the market that will be one helluva contendor. I have great respect for you my friend.
p.s.- there will always be critics. Let the masses judge you and your product and you'll be just fine. Einstein and Tesla had their detractors and it only made the stronger and this hookah shit is not rocket science right? There's still a lot of room for improvements here and I'm glad you have the balls to do something more than kick back and ride along with the norm
