Af Double Apple Issues

Quick question for you avid smokers... I have a 250g pack of AF double apple.... and i HATE the taste, is there anything i can do with it without mixing it with other tobacco to get some better taste out of it? Maybe let it sit to aerate, or just leave it closed up for a few weeks, put something else in the bowl, I can't stand the taste of that damn licorice!!!!!

Keep smoking it and you'll acquire the taste, I'm sure. I'm guessing you're new to hookah, so I'll tell ya... that's just how double apple is. And most other apples too for that matter, though usually less anisey.

I've been smoking on and off for a while, and I remember having some AMAZING double apple in a shisha cafe when i first started smoking. It actually tasted like apples. I was too noob to ask what brand of tobacco it was.

As for acquiring a taste for it :s... i'd rather not, i've been trying different DA brands and I heard that this is supposed to be good (NOT!!!!!!). I guess i'll have to order some mint on my next batch, I hear mixing AF DA with mint cuts down on the licorice taste. Meanwhile i'll smoke my Al Amir white grape sooooooo gooooooood

Get Nakhla Double Apple, It's way better than Al Fakher Double Apple.
It still has a slight anise flavor though.

thats the one reason i dont smoke al fakher double apple. it is all anise and no apple. there is nothing you can do about the extremely overpowering anise flavour unless you can convince al fakher to change their recipe.

nakhla double apple is probably the best double apple out there. it has anise but you can taste the apple.

if you dont like anise at all then you will want to get eskandarani apple. ever since i started smoking al fakher eskandarani apple i havent been able to smoke any double apple because i find even the slightest anise will ruin it.
