Sychosis Dragon
Hello,I'm using Coco Nara coals and I light them properly, just as I've seen people do online, they turn completely bright red throughout, but when I put them on the foil and start smoking, they start turning black and I'm getting no smoke. The more I inhale, the more they go black. What could I be doing wrong?
Tom1
Are they just black on the side touching the foil?
Sychosis Dragon
That and the top turns black the longer I inhale, basically the whole thing starts to turn as I keep inhaling.
Charley
leave them on your burner till they start to ash. if they still do it I dont know what else to tell you
Toxik916
You might not have enough holes in the foil for proper airflow, or if your not using a phunnel the holes in the bowl may be clogged.
fcbayern
I have never had a problem with my coco's ever going out.. I dont even usually ash them, or move them..DO u use a windcover?
JDHarding
Sounds like your pipe isn't air-tight, or your check valve's ball is stuck in the "out" position. When you pull, do the coals light up red on the bottom or sides? If not, it's your pipe. Air is leaking somewhere.
jeremyk
use a windcover and flip them over if the bottom is black

Tom1
Me and LHH helped him fix the problem last night on stickam. He was getting pretty good smoke too.
inino
Honestly could be a bad batch, If they are red all the way around they should not turn black anywhere except the bottom, even then I rarely ever flip them and still get good smoke when the bottom starts turning a little black.
