NimbleCow
Saw this in a local shop and wasn't brave enough to buy it without first being prepared.Anyone know what we're looking at here? Or better--how is it?
no longer welcome
it's a knock off, basically stealing the AF name for profit. Not the same product at all, however I am not sure how it smokes.
NimbleCow
Crazy. From memory--they had other flavors that had a similar packaging look--but "Special Flavor" caught my eye the quickest.

atticus
Yeah, that is a knock-off I think. All of the new Al-Fakher has the red seal around it, that's how you know its legit.
MrBungle
Dubai Tobacco is made by Al Fakher Trading Co. LLC and it is supposedly the lower quality tobacco cuts left over from Al Fakher production. http://www.dubaitobacco.com/

So now the question is--what leftovers become "Special Flavor?"If you go to their site, it looks like the flavor cue image representing "SP Flavor" is a muffin
Doubon
left overs from other flavors? like schnozzberry or 5 star?

srawas89
It does float around the U.S. It is stocked in my local shop (im in Cincinnati) along with authentic AF. I think the knock off is a pretty good, their mint isnt too bad.

I have to say the mystery of it all is making me want to try it.
AKammenzind
Some shops in the Burgh sell the brand... I've had some, and it's so-so. Nothing great but certainly smoke-able, and sometimes even enjoyable. If you get it for a good price why not, but the 'special flavor' is rather intriguing.
