Hello all! I've been lurking in the forums a bit, and have talked to a few of you in chat.

My name is Emily and I live in Northern California with my husband, two daughters, and an assortment of pets. I work full time, take night classes in the evenings, belly dance, and garden. My husband and I started going to a new local hookah lounge a few weeks ago with some friends, and I am completely hooked. Or is it hookah-ed?

I'm also a bit of a research whore, so I can't just run out and buy the first, cheapest hookah I find. I want to have a good experience, so I've been learning all I can about them before I purchase our first one. My current plan is to get a MYA QT, a phunnel, and hopefully one of cotsi's new hoses. I'm still not sure what I want for my first batch of shisha - there are too many choices out there!

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time on HF to date, and look forward to getting to sharing hookah experiences!

first off welcome to the board!

-for your first hookah a QT is definately a good way to go if you want portability and still a great smoke and you cant go wrong with a phunnel. so good looks on that

-for tobacco id say go with some of the more liked nakhla flavors, sweet melon mandarin etc etc, great flavors and not too fussy with heat or anything. Read the reviews section and youll find out all youll need to know.
