I feel your pain on that Charley. You can only be so careful when you're drunk and I have some burns in my study to prove it. sad.gif I'm getting some porcelain tile in a middleeastern theme installed within the next couple of months up there so that will help. I plan on having a persian rug but not near my desk where I smoke at as suggested by Ms Scalli ohmy.gif

Muahahhahaha.

One of the places I rent out for an investor I lived in for 6 months..that was my "budding" hookah use, and ergo there are a few nice little Square burns in some key rooms. Lol.

I'm a clumsy bigish dude, but now I never transport coals without a tray, I treat my hookah like a 1 year old baby, and its golden.

However, a cheap silver flint BLEW UP in transit on a tray at a party and splinter ALL over a kitchen laminate floor...thank god the laminate didn't burn (weird).

couple more signs, just that you smoke too much hookah.
1. your fingernails always have that black coal dust in them.
2. your fingers smell like glycerine and the last three mixes you packed.
3. you use more tin foil on hookah than food.
4. you keep a pair of tongs in every room
5. you have an extra bowl to pack your next hookah, before you are done with the one you are smoking

I have had my luck in the past. I had never dropped a coal on anything or knocked a hookah over. I have been there to save the people who do. EXCEPT last week, I dropped it on my couch!! Bummer!! on the arm too.
