I had some buddies over and we were just relaxing, smoking some hookah. One of my buddies gets comfortable and decides to lie down while holding onto the hose and knocks the hookah over. It was my mini mya from h-s. Of course I was using exoticas, one piece broken in half and of course it decides to break into a few pieces when it gets knocked over. The sad thing is I've smoked so many times in my room, not once have I even gotten a spark on the carpet. Now I have about 4 different burnt spots on the carpet. Haha he's a good buddy of mine too and he felt so bad. I didn't know what to say besides don't worry about it, can't do anything now. I heard all of the warnings and thought I could handle it, but not when there's other people in the room...

When you smoke inside with people you just have to expect that shit like that will happen. When I moved out of my last apartment I got slammed with a $1200 bill for re-carpeting. If you can, go to a carpet store and match the carpet. Then just cut out the holes and throw in a patch

Hey, shit happens. I often smoke with 3-10 other people and you just get used to someone screwing up every now and then.

Very true, shit happens.

Everyone of my regular smoking buddies has at least mest up with coals/pulling a hookah over/etc twice tongue.gif

My ex-gf got a bunch of burns on her carpet from her old QT. When she had to move out of her apartment she just went to the back of the closet and cut out a few small squares of carpet and put them in over the burns, worked well, no bill or anything...

..great idea. Might need to give this idea to my buddy who will suffer from this very soon, his lease is up in a month biggrin.gif
