Hookie The Hookah
I've got some no-label quick lites that smell like gasoline and cause day long migraines that I picked up from a local tobacco shop. The owner told me he couldn't afford to buy the minimum quantities of legit coals so he had to buy from a business that recently went under. This comes as no surprise to me as these coals are the bane of my wonderful Lucid BGB/Af Cherry mix right now... Anyway, I'm not sure what the point of this was other than to warn of no label coals like these
FamiliarJoe
That packaging would of been a good enough sign for me to not even consider buying them lmao. Super sketch..
mushrat
hookie, where do you live. I can probably tell him where to order from. where I get 3 kings from there is no minimum order.
chinamon
fact: these coals were originally made for incense use, not smoking, so it doesnt surprise me that so many quicklight coals taste like crap and come with a free serving of headache.

no longer welcome
QUOTE (mushrat @ May 6 2009, 11:53 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>hookie, where do you live. Are there really minimums on your side of the country? Sometimes store owners make excuses thinking the customer is dumb. I always hear great stories, usually goes something like this "no actually those are really good coals, just as good as 3Kings"Anyways, try not to ruin your lungs/ears/throat/nose/eyes/hands with those. Bookworm
GNR, that's why I want a hookah shirt, when you roll in somewhere wearing activity-related apparel people tend to take you more seriously than someone in an SCU Ultimate sweatshirt. Tends to send the message of "I know my shit so don't bother" to the storeowners.

Don't know how they would get distributed, unless through HK since they own the forum.Like 15 bucks or something, wouldn't be to bad, I would buy one, maybe two!/threadjackYeah, companies that make coals to look like a good brand always end up sucking.Best to just stay away. Sonthert
All the best coals were made for incense, like Japanese coals. There are lots of crummy rip-offs in the market. Here's a tip: If they are trying to rip off a company, They aren't putting much thought into design or originality, so they aren't putting much into the quality either.
