tjt486
I just had my first real problem with your product. As I was washing out my hookah, my tangiers bowl got knocked over and the 'bowl' came seperated from the 'stem'. Is it a 2 piece by design or did it just happen to be an extremely clean break right there? What do you reccomend to re-assemble this? I started to use super glue, but I thought I should ask here considering the heat this area may be subjected to, I wouldnt want anything toxic there. Lukasa
Tangiers makes hookahs as well as shisha??? News to me. Someone link me to them. Usually the bowl is supposed to come off of the stem, is there a little rubber thing up inside the bowl?

HookahEnthusiast
Um for the record I dont believe tangiers makes hookahs...thats not to say he wouldnt or couldnt in the future...but as of right now ive heard/read nothing about them...only his long stem large bowls that he sells as well as his tobacco. O and also..while were on the thread of "tangiers questions" i had one for him. Tangiers/Eric: You have many ideas/theories (which all seem to make perfect sense) regarding the overall quality of smoke based on humidity shock and humidity and general...i am wondering how important humidity shock and humidity in general are to other forms of tobacco smoking. Obviously they have cigar humidors for a reason but after a cigar has left ideal conditions in a room equipped with a humidor and is placed in a different humidity what effect does this have on the smoke of the cigar itself? I'm personally not a cigar smoker but was in a cigar shop the other day and this question popped into my head and i knew you would be just the guy to ask! thanks
Sonthert
There are two schools of though in cigars, too...the dry cigar people and the humidor people. What matters is what you like...try different things and if the extra work pays off, keep it up! If you don;t think its worth it, then don;t....if you see what I'm saying.Tyler: They are made in two pieces and then "fused" together" I have seen other bowls separate like that before too...super glue should be OK. Sonthert
Except for cigars, nobody has ever addressed the effects of humidity on tobacco...although, as I understand it, people use to keep cigaretttes in humidors, too.
smokinshisha4life
Hey, Ive been a cigar smoker for a few years so I thought id answer the question on what effect does it have if you leave a cigar out of a humidor for a few days. Cigars need to be kept at about 70%f , and 70% humidity. After you bring a cigar out for a few days it will become dry and hard, all the oils in the tobacco will have escaped to where the flavor is hardly there. Some cigars come in metal or glass tubes called tubos but they wont hold there humidity in them, nor cellophane which most single cigars are sold in to protect the wrapper. Sorry for the rant about cigars, just thought id share some knowledge.
zzzzzT
Cigars do need to be stored properly or they lose flavor and get harsh. I have not had the same problem with shisha. As long as it is in a good container and stays moist I have not had a problem. Though as Tangiers describes the humidity can definitely affect some flavors. Sonthert
Yes, yes, my friends, I think we can all agree then. Your wisdom and foresight is brillant! I AM indeed trying to get the last word in!
