Barnaby
To give some background to my day's adventure, let me start by saying I have never used a Mya hookah. I own and haven't used it! I received a Mya Acrylic (probably a medium sized stem, with a screw on vase) as a gift late last year. It was a used one someone found on craigslist, and gave to me to use as a portable hookah. However, the hookah came with the lebanese bowl adapter, and as such, I couldn't use my phunnel on it. It was also missing the charcoal plate, and needs a general heavy cleaning. It seems to be in decent condition otherwise, just normal wear and tear. No one seems to sell the Mya stem adapter, but you can get it from Mya's site. I've been holding off on this, as since I have my Syrian hookah I use regular, the need hasn't been great. This weekend, I should be going camping, and I thought, it'd be nice to get the Mya up and running for it. I was looking on Mya's site again, and for fun, decided to see where their store front was. Little did I know that I was 3 minutes away from it at work! I drove over there to check it out, and man.. There is some SERIOIUSLY beautiful hookahs in that place. Unfortunately I wasn't able to take photos (yet), as I just met one of the guy's there, and he did have some products they didn't want displayed yet. I wasn't going to push the issue, but I'll see if I can get any photos. Anyway, the guy there was VERY helpful, and told me alot about Mya in general, and how they design their hookahs, how they're made, etc. He also showed me some of their more special items. He brought out this base, no lie, it must've been 16 inches high, out of hand made chezch crystal. It must've weight 8lbs. It was a breathtaking piece. I wish I had a pic.. or the $400+ to buy it.. Needless to say, seeing all the Mya hookah's in person is a far cry from looking at them on the web. Justice cannot be done to simply how beautiful a hookah they make. After I get my Mya up, I'll see if they smoke any decent, but from a beauty standpoint alone, they're hard to beat. And I can't say enough how nice and friendly the staff was there, specially me coming in looking like a bum off the street. LOL.. If you are anywhere near the northern VA area, it's definately worth a trip to see their hookahs in person.

evilded777
I just smoked my QT for the first time on Friday... and it is AWESOME.Easily the equal, functionally, as my KM. Aesthetically, its obviously outclassed... but it smokes like a champ and is a very functional design.I WILL be getting another Mya for my stable. Barnaby
I'll see if I can get some pics sometime if I had back that way, definitely some fun stuff there. It was neat to see the all crystal hookahs in person, like this one: http://www.myasaray.com/store/item.asp?ITE...EPARTMENT_ID=47Any of the crystal ones were pretty awesome. Just wish they'd let you try them before you buy them.. LOL
karrotx
The Mya Sarray store is ~15 minutes from my house. It's strange that the only US location they have is in Sterling VA; but I'm not complaining . I will go there this weekend or next.
