haze605
So I read on hookah-shisha that it's possilbe to add jelly to dry shisha in order to add some flavor too it. I was wondering if anybody has any experience with this or knows anything about it. I have some AF watermelon that is pretty much on it's way out and I'm trying to add a little flavor to it. Scalliwag
Get some glycerin if you are going to try that as well. Otherwise you probably won't get good smoke. You can go to a ethnic hair salon supply and find it there as a gel used for helping hair frizz problems. It will say 99.7% glycerin or something like that. It's usually about $4 for an 8 oz bottle
haze605
any suggestions for a good flavor of jelly to compliment watermelon?
Scalliwag
If you have any farmers markets get you some homemade mom and pop jelly or jam with no preservatives or at least minimal. On that you'd just have to experiment with flavors. Maybe raspberry or blueberry. Hell, maybe juice from fresh fruit. Take a watermelon and get some juice and a little pulp from it but don't mix more than you would use within a couple of days

redjako
I've used it at a party before when the bowls just sucked...some fusion was really dried out.Dolloped some grape jelly, it smoked a lot better. Didn't really impart too much taste.Last resort I'd say with jelly

twoapplesplease
recentlly I ran out of tobacco and I live in the middle of nowhereville (90 miles to the nerest wall mart)so I mixed up some american spirit rolling tobacco with honey mollases and pure maple syrup honestly it didn't work without the glycerin but for a momment there it was pretty tasty then it burned. but Id try maple syrup agin seems like a tobbaco blend of glycerin maple syrup would be awsome. If only we could get tangiers to whip up some maple syrup shisha to go with my pancakes for breakfast.Well I'm origanally from northern wisconsin and got maple syrup in my veins
TizaNabi
I use glycerin and have on hand this great tasting date syrup which has no additives, just filtered dates cooked down.
