Sychosis Dragon
Up until today, when I would inhale, my hookah (which has a diffuser) would produce bubbles, but now it won't unless I inhale really hard. I tried cleaning it but it didn't help. what might be causing this?

Canon
low water level and the diffuser going out of the water level. the bubbles are going strait to the top instead of going through the water.
Bookworm
is the pull really difficult, or is it smooth and easy, but sans bubbles?
Sychosis Dragon
'is the pull really difficult, or is it smooth and easy, but sans bubbles?'It's very easy and produces smoke, but no bubbles unless I inhale extremely hard, which is uncomfortable. Sariél
Check for a hole or a leak in your downstem, above the water line. This happened to someone else here recently.

This will cause you to have to draw in harder to produce bubbles. I have had a diffuser for a little over a year now, and when I first started using it, I had the same problem. Give it a try! questions
I just had this issue about a month ago...drove me crazy for over a week, I had a small hairline crack in the downstem..no idea how or when...but that little crack almost killed me...replaced and alive..can't complain now...smoke and enjoy........ Sychosis Dragon
I see no cracks or anything in the stem. The one thing I noticed is that now when I blow into the hose, the air no longer comes out the exhaust on the other side of where the hose plugs in. But it comes out of the top of the stem where the bowl goes. That didn't happen before. Does this help?
