Matt-641
That's good to hear b/c otherwise I'd have return it and get my $20 back. There was a smaller bottle made by a different brand there too, but it said "do not consume, contact poison control if this happens". Figured this was the safer bet then. Thanks you guys. liquidglass
Good question Matt, what shisha are you adding it to if I might ask?I thought about doing this sometime too for some of my older stuff. Normally I just use honey
Zinite
Taste it before you use it. It should taste like frosting (sugar) rather than soap.

delSol_si
Son of a bitch! That is the same stuff I saw at Walmart a long time ago and thought it wasn't ok to use because it didn't say FDA or anything pertaining to being ok to consume, so I didn't buy it thinking it was the wrong stuff. Btw, the bottle I found was like $4, tho it probably wasn't as big, I'll have to go back now and get it. Damn, that was a good idea to take a pic, wish I would have done that, coulda been using it for the past couple months.Edit: I thought you guys said it had to be vegetable glycerine? No where on that bottle is the word vegetable, I have checked. Edited May 18, 2009 by delSol_si
MWlax00
yaa id say taste it first.the whole skin protectant seems kinda sketchy. from what i recall, you need something that is used for baking. not something found in the cosmetics isle.

But I will try that tasting idea.On a side note, I am going to be using it with some Tangiers and some Nakhla that have dried out a bit.

Could be an opportunity for you. In several euro countries they sell a mixture of glycerine, honey and water, basically the bahraini honey stuff for a whopping E 3.50/$4.70 to E 6.00/$8.00 for 100ml/3.3 oz. Vegetable Glycerinewell, then there is shipping, which makes is about $10, plus you have to wait at least a few days for it to get to you (and I want to smoke now! ) But I'll keep that in mind for future needs.
