I just got a new tin of Orange in and it does seem a bit more dry than usual, looking at the last remenant of my old Orange tin. Maybe they cut back on the juices since people thought there was too much and it leaked into their stem and caused rusting? I don't know, maybe they just had some issues in production?

I remember their orange always being more on the dry side, not a big fan of it though.

The flavor of SB is far superior to any other brand out there. Some people have trouble making it last as long as Tangiers and SB doesn't offer the same buzz as other brands, but if you smoke for flavor like me, SB is king.

Of course it doesn't, it's washed.

But yeah, flavor is pretty awesome with SB.

Why? Other people have different opinions, everyone likes to think their favorite is the best for "x" reason. The fact of the matter is "different strokes for different folks."

I agree that SB has some DAMN good flavors and has become a bit of a whipping boy. I also believe the longevity of the flavors needs some tweaking. Flavor dissipates fast.

from my understanding that is because the majority of SB is water content. The brand doesn't need tweaking in order to fix that issue ... the recipe needs to be completely changed!

or that smile.gif But the big clouds are nice too lol. If they could lengthen the flavor it'd be bomb but as has been discussed a million times already, so long as people buy it as is for such a high price they wont change anything.

Chill man, it was a joke happy.gif

But you should read your post again, does it really look like an opinion? To me, it looks more like you tried to lay it out as a fact, its the words you use.
I believe the general idea on this forum is more or less - starbuzz = overpriced crap, this, combined with above, is why i made the "flameshield" comment.

Many people will probably disagree with me but a forum is for expressing your opinion (simple version), if you do it like FSUReligionMan it doesnt work, you obviously ment well but dont take it for granted that people will understand that its an opinion (and with the words and sentences you used... gaaah its all a friggin mindloop)

Now someone will probably misunderstand me and get all angry and shit mellow.gif

Baah, why are we arguing when we could be smoking? _sheesha2__by_Majunka_aurore.gif

Anything reguarding taste/preference in a substance is an opinion to other people :-\

Actually, the flavor fades quickly because of the their flavor profile/coordination. Its not a question of adding more flavor or glycerine...its how they choose to orient their flavors. Starbuzz isn't being cheap, its the way they choose to present and design their product. On the other hand, a company could decide to add less flavor and/or less glycerine. I remember some company doing that...it wasn;t Starbuzz...a really old, long since obscure importer...Abu Hitham Tobacco? I don;t remember...they started adding less flavor and glycerine and it cost them.

LEts put it this way...you know how a lot of Cherry flavors taste nasty and chemically at the beginning of the bowl? Thats what happens when you add too much flavor to hookah tobacco.

Like you said yourself, that's just your opinion. I think SB has a handful of great flavors, but personally I find most of their flavors to taste really artificial. I'd put both Nakhla and Tangiers above SB taste-wise, but that's probably because I prefer the realistic, less "sugary" taste.

In a earlier post in this thread somebody asked if SB was put down just because it wasn't a middle eastern brand, then went on to talk about the price factor as something that's not attackable because he could afford it. To the first claim, Tangiers is probably the most popular brand on this forum and it's an American brand. To the latter: if you can afford it and love it, that's great. But when comparing different brands most people take the price factor into account, regardless of whether you're talking about shisha or a car. SB is often more than twice as expensive as other brands, and considering the short life of the flavors that's going to be a minus. If you smoke for a short amount of time and have a lot of cash, then I guess it's a great brand.

I'm a little late to this party/war but I like SB. Some of the flavors come off a little too "sugary" for me, but in general I like the product.
