New Hookah And Hookah Woes

I bought a shi**tty hookah that hits really good and It heaver than my
10' Mitsuba. Which I need cause my Mitsuba fell over on my bed and
freaked me out once. But when I finshed with it (3bowls) the inside of
the stem not the stem it self but like where the hose goes and stuff
rusted. I think its cause its copper. Is it not good to smoke with
rust? I really like it and stuff but I dont want to get sick from it.

are you sure its rust? is it green? if it is green that is normal just not that fast but mine turns green inside too after a smoke i just scrub it out with my cleaner brush and some hot water and it is just like new.

I thought copper doesn't rust?  It's probably just resin gunk.  Try brush cleaning it and rinsing it.

It wiped right off but it was not green it was red. Its still a baddass hookah though.

The red is likely the juices from your ma'asell.  It cal also look green when you run water though your hookah to clean it. Both are normal..so quit worrying and enjoy your smoke.
And copper does corrode...turns green.

Corrode and oxidize are two different things...I think. Anyways, a black buildup of rubbery, oily non-watersoluble material will buildup...just brush it off like the Dude says.

Its no problem and it does not affect the quality of your hookah. Copper rusts and its normal.
