Whats My Hookah?

Recommended Posts

Alright, so my first hookah broke sad.gif and I made myself a homemade hookah. Well I was talking to my friend and apparently he had a hookah laying around that he said I could have, so of course I wasn't going to turn down a free hookah. And it turns out that its a beauty. I love it and it smokes amazing. I thought it looked like a KM but I just don't know. So I wanted to know what the forum thought.
Here are some pictures.

If it is a "regular" egyptian, don't let that discourage you. It looks good, it probably smokes good and thats all you need. Well, that and a tray.

No I'm not discouraged I just wanted to know what i was smoking out of. It smokes better than any hookah I've owned so I'm happy. Oh I have a tray haha smile.gif

Yeah, looks like a Caravan Egyptian, Sala glass (Something like that...its Egyptian)...About 3-4 years old? Is the downstem brass? Show me a picture of the downstem. Check the pressure on the hose port. Seal it up from the bottom and blow through it...is it holding air? Careful...that hose port looks like it has burrs and can cut your mouth.

The down stem looks to be stainless steel like the rest of the stem. Its all one piece. It holds the pressure pretty well. I plugged the down stem and the top and sucked to see if there were any leaks and the valve leaks a little but only when a large amount of pressure is applied. It probably is about 3 years old. My friends older brother gave it to him before he gave it to me.

Check the hose port, however. Its more common for there to be a leak in the hose port.

The do-dad on the vent is really retro, like 2004. It doesn't look like a great pipe...but worth every penny you paid for it.
