I'm kind of in the same situation ...I just finished moving in and can't afford paying for an internet connetion. But, when I turned on my computer I found about 5 different available wireless connections to choose from Congrats on the new place!

Montreal, like many other cities, is almost fully ingulfed in wireless internet. Every where I go downtown there's a connection called default which I'm sure is the internet blanket. What's the point of paying for internet?!Jon

Just replace all your light bulbs with flouresent and youll prolly save enought every month to buy internet.round here you can get dial up like basically for free, and high-speed is only 15/month for DSL and about 20-30 for cable.Ya gotta have the net... it a netcessityBut then again, i am in school , if i wasnt i might not need it so bad
