I've been smoking for a few years now and have had a couple different pipes kinda low end to start me out after all I've just been figuring out through trial and error what shisha and methods work best.. Anyhow I now want to invest into a better quallity hookah... I don't really care what it looks like or where it was made as long as it is a good hookah experience. So any suggestions as to what to invest in for a great smoke would be awesome... I'd like to save on cost if possible as well.. Also any shisha or coal suggestions would be greatly appreciated... All I've really used so far is starbuz mixes.

hose - i would personally go with a razan/nammor; they're washable and although people say that they fall apart et al. personally i've never had a bad experience with them. i mean i did have to super-glue one of the grommets back in the hose so the mouthpiece would fit. but it never came out and for how long the hose has lasted and all of the sessions i've had with it, i'd still say it's the best hose on the market. http://hookahjohn.com/product.sc?categoryI...mp;productId=46

coals - if you smoke inside and are worried about shit getting everywhere i would go with cocos. http://www.hookah-shisha.com/store/pc/view...;idproduct=2654 that's the best deal on them currently. if you mainly smoke outside and don't give a damn go with best of the west mesquite. http://www.twotreesproducts.com/charcoal_lump.aspx if you're lucky (like me tongue.gif) you can find them locally at a grocery store like Kroger or something.

bowl/head - i would go with at least one 'normal egyptian' and then one small tangiers (prefereably black - they're the smallest) and why a small tangiers phunnel? because if the smalls can still hold around 50g of tobacco, imagine how much the mediums and larges hold.

tobacco - personally, i mainly smoke nakhla. i also can't help but keep a few al fakher flavors stocked, like eskandarani apple, mint, and vanilla. i also have a few tangiers flavors, but usually only smoke the lucid. i would recommend lucid horchata and kashmir cherry; there are also a few new ones that i haven't had the opportunity to try yet. also, the OG 'noir' tangiers has A LOT more flavors. i have to mention kashmir peach. nuff said.

For a hookah, that all comes down to which one looks best to you. I have a 40in KM Exotica and love it, but for some people its just too tall. I also have a 26-20in Syrian that smokes fine too. I think a good session is more in the bowl packing and heat management than it is the hookah.

yeah i don't check mnh too often. i may hit that up though, cheaper price & i won't have to pay taxes! DOUBLE SAVE - thanks ryno.

i was trying to edit the post, but it wouldn't let me post after i had edited it? i have had a km exotica, and i currently have a kefae and a zakiy/ice from KM and i just got the trimetal and i have to say that the trimetal smokes the best out of all of them.

imo, that pipe is a piece; i'm looking to get rid of it.
