Me, me, me!

My gamertag is "USSR Vladimir". My Xbox died though so I don't play right now, BUT! I will be moving back in with the parents in a couple weeks and will be on my brother's xbox frequently (saved my HDD happy.gif).

J1GS4W7 is me. I'm usually running around in RPG's (Running through Mass Effect again) but if you want to play some CoD, L4D, or some Halo, just send me a message and I can usually just pop on over.

Alright, gentlemen, I don't play yet but I've been urged to, and I intend to. So, it comes down to which of the myriad systems available I should purchase.

Trumped up as it may be, if I'm buying a new Xbox I intend to get one with the newest Jasper chipset. I've read that the only guarantees I have on that are the new Arcades, and the Resident Evil bundle. So, I'm leaning towards a new arcade and an external HD, knowing full well that an internal HD is cheaper and easier at the moment.

Anyone have any words of advice for me?

I would look into that, all new Xboxs should have the jasper chip. Also there is no such thing as an internal HDD for the Xbox360- if you buy an arcade and then go buy a HDD, it is the same HDD that would have come with the Xbox (though likely in a different size).

But dont worry about playin anything with me for a long while, my xbox just gave it up today.I could prolly do with just a new DVD drive, but that would require switching controller boards, and im out of warrenty so i guess i should jsut get a new arcade.

That project Natal thing looks creepy....

I can see the headlines now...

"On September 18th, 2009...the XBOX became self aware. --- Little did 9 year old Susie know that before she got home to show her mom her new drawing, the XBOX got to her first."

Haha, I was thinking the same thing! As cool as the technology is, it is still somewhat creepy, now kids that dont have any friends because they play video games all day can be friends WITH their XBOX.
