I'm so happy I just had to share.... I've had this neighbor next door for two years that I've hated from the first time I set eyes on her. She had a tantrum when friends and I were smoking our hookah outside, she demanded I keep turning down the stereo and TV even when they were at a reasonable level, and she treated her little girl worse than most people treat farm animals. I tried to get over my dislike, I really did but never managed to come to like or understand her. But this morning I awoke to the sound of a moving van and she's moving out! I'm soooooooo happy! I think I'll go sit on the porch and watch her finish up moving with a smoking bowl of Tangiers right beside me! Yippee!

congrats! shitty neighbors suck. I've learned however that some subtle intimidation tactics often go a long way ask the asshole above me who used to scowl at us everytime he saw me out with my kids. Best not to scowl at a huge dude covered in tats and piercings who loves his kids immensly, less you wanna be intimidated lol. (no words or violence involved, often just a dose of the same medicine they dish out will shut them down)

GNR- I would be careful pissing off people who live above you. I used to live in a 3 story apartment on the 3rd floor with a buddy. This guy living right below us would blare his music all morning long 6am and then sometimes during the day. Then he started doing it at night. One day I went to an auction and they had a huge set of encyclopedias that didn't sell. I went up and asked what they were going to do with them. They said they were going to throw them away. They let me have them. I brought them home and the next time he blared his music, my roommate and I jumped up and down while slamming the encyclopedias on the floor. been there...even had one when moved to our house. Are dogs barking at 10am on Saturday was disruptive to them... but them blasting music and waking guests we had in the guest bedroom at 2 am was okay.... glad they moved out.
