Stratophony
Thanks for the welcome.... Yup... it is that metallic taste, and and overall horrid smell when not being smoked. I cleaned it all throroughly this weekend, and it tasted great. So i should buy another hose?.... with another metal tip? Wouldnt it just end up with the same results. Or maybe get some of those plastic deals they have in the cafe's? And it also does burn a fair amount.... it's h ard just to take a big a hit. yashman19
Plastic tips help get rid of that metalic taste for me when using a traditional hose, but other than that, clean your hose and let it COMPLETELY dry out. This may take a solid 1-3 days to let it fully dry.
Cornellius
Never use metal marpuçs, pay some more and buy good old traditional ones ^^
nuschultz
I am a big advocate for the plastic tips myself. Make sure you get ones that go over the tip and not inside it, because the ones that go inside odnt offer much of a seal, which leads to a thinner, less flavorful smoke. bingtroy
just order the plastic tips, they're cheap and probably "taste" better
Sonthert
Yeah, metal cased hoses/tips accumulate that crap...cleaning is the key, as long as the hose is washable...otherwise it trades metallic taste for rust hitting you in the mouth.
