Well let's get the obvious answers out of the way.

Good Investments:

Phunnel Bowl

Nammor/Razan Hose

Good Windcover

Good Tongs

Natural Coals

Good Tobacco

This. You're much better off watching some videos on here about how to properly pack a bowl, manage heat, assemble and maintain a hookah, etc. than you are purchasing new gear.

You know, considering, Stuie really is right. I have all of those things, and they aid my smoking experience immensely. If everything was stolen, I'd buy all of those again. I might put it all on a QT smile.gif

Would it be okay for a beginner like me as in not to over powering?

There are three variants, Lucid, Noir (OG/original) and F-Line.

Lucid is the mildest, and the easiest to get right.

OG packs a punch if you're new, or if you don't smoke often (i.e. at least 5 times a week)

F-Line is like OG, but adds caffeine to kick you in the face.

I smoke 2-3 bowls a day (<--lightweight) and OG still occasionally buzzes me pretty hard. I'd start with Lucid.

i'd actually skip Tangiers for now, and go with Al Fakher and Nakhla...those are probably the most forgiving shishas...however, they both smoke great using different methods. try smoking AF exclusivley for a month or two, then go to nak for a month. once you get down heat management and packing without much effort, then i'd go to Tangiers...

in fact, the first time i went to oddyssey to pick up a pack of tangiers...i told Eric i've never actually packed my own bowl before and he told me, "maybe you're not ready for this stuff"...i couldn't believe it, he actually didn't want me to buy stuff from him!! i think i understood where he was coming from though. you can tell Eric is proud/passionate about his product and if you're not going to get the optimal experience from it, he'd rather not put it out there...at least, that's my guess.

naturally, i didn't listen to him and bought a couple kilos smile.gif

I'd say only smoke AF/Layalina/SB/Fantasia etc. (the washed stuff) Not nakhla. Nakhla packs just as big of a buzz as tang, overpowering to me means strong buzz, so if you are saying u don't want something strong, pass on the nakhla.

hmmm...yeah, that's a good point...i took overpowering as like, too much flavor...ok, yeah...that seems dumb thinking about it now....hahaha.

anyways, i don't get buzzes anymore...so nakhla and tangiers don't affect me anymore (1.5 packs of cigarettes a day can do that to ya)
