Desperate Times Call For Desperate Measures...

Recommended Posts

Anyways I am curious how desperate anyone has goten for a smoke... I think my personal best came a couple weeks ago while waiting for 2 shipments of shisha to come in. I had coals but nothing to smoke, so I scooped up a months worth of shisha off my counter and loaded a bowl with it... tangiers, SB, Af, hookah hookah, layalina, al mashal, fumari, nahkla, and prolly 2-3 other brands lol and MANY flavors... basically tasted like I was smoking a rainbow haha.

smoked pretty good for not having been sealed or anything and just sitting out. anyone else have a story like this?

Instead of leaving it on your counter, try an empty tub smile.gif . I did have a tray I mixed on for awhile and packed that up a few times and i dont wanna know how long some of that was on there

When I ran out fresh Shisha, I started smoking old Nakhla boxes that have been there for 3 or more years. Nasty stuff. Then, my order got stuck in Canada customs. I was devastated. So I bough some tobacco "leafs", molasses, glycerin, those cigars/cigarette flavors "little bottles" from a smoke shop. And I tried cooking my own tobacco. It smoked well for 15 minutes, but then it felt like smoking a pipe.

Also when I ran out of coals, I tried using charcoals from the BBQ. Not the wood ones, the other stone ones. Nasty Nasty Nasty.

Im going to go ahead and give a warning; dont lecture me about what im about to tell you.
i know it was stupid, and dangerous, but i was young and foolish. i know better now, 4 years later.
what i did was steal my parents car (no liscence, no permit) go to the nearest grocery store, buy bbq coals, use them. they didnt work, tried using wood chips. that didnt work, tried using a lighter. that didnt work, tried using burning paper. that didnt work, tried using cardboard. that didnt work, tried using ....
wait for it....
styrafoam. yes yes i know, dont lecture me, never again.
multiple times on all these methods. then i gave up.

Took my pipe to the park to smoke, i went as deep into the park as possible so i had some space to myself. Turned out i didn't have foil with me, no shops near me where open so i scrounged the picknick area for a piece of foil on the ground probably used to bbq with earlier. That was pretty desperate. Also paying 8 euros for shredded "melon flavoured" sugarcane shit that passes itself off as shisha because there was nothing else.

Doesn't shisha have molasses in it that contains sugar, not to mention glycerine is a sugar substitute. How many ants did you smoke in that bowl?? mocking.gif

I have ran out of foil few times. I used the following on different occasions:
- Foil cover from 3 Kings coal roll.
- An empty Pepsi can that I cut off and actually cut myself trying to make it work.
- Nothing, I squeezed the tobacco and made the bowl tighter and placed alot of coals on top.

Also, one thing I advice no one to do is to smoke in one of those small sleeping tents when you go camping.
They are just for sleeping, bad idea.
