A cheap diffuser idea...?

I havn't tried this... it just popped into my head. What do you guys think about getting a rubber finger tip

Poking some holes in it (with a hot needle maybe?) and slipping it on.
It's like 1.50 for 12. Comes in different sizes, 7/8, 9/16, 11/16, 3/4,
5/8.

that would easily work  but the only problem would be tying it shut to the bottom of your stem!

Not sure what you are saying? Are you talking about getting it to stay
on to the stem? I was thinking that since it is rubber (has some
stretch) you can get the right size so it will have to be stretched a
little to fit over the stem... holding itself tight to the stem.

SO I feel kinda stupid asking this, but what the heck would be the point of doing that, I mean I'm sure theres a good reason for it, I just cant wrap my head around it is all.

Instead of having 1 or so large bubbles, it breaks it up into lots of
smaller ones. Which filters the smoke a little more, makes it a little
smoother, cools a little more, and silences a little more.

I made it, I got the small size and put a bunch of holes in it with a tack. It works great, made props twang on a really good, cheap and effective idea.

hey what about mine out of the end of a uniball, except for the fact that some hookahs are diffrent sized stems in width that is lol, anyways good one, seems you can almost find anything to make one
