Quicklites have came in handy before, but I would take natural coals anytime of the day. Also with Natural any of the coconut products beats the other natural ones too in taste and smell.

Everytime I used to light those Nour coals the whole floor used to smell like someone is having a BBQ, with the coconaras I get virtually no smell at all.

I've had arguably the best common brands of each in the last week* and can say that the naturals are infinitely better and worth the trouble. If you have an electric burner stove, you're going to have an easy time lighting the naturals anyway, so you should go for it.

* Best common quicklights: 3 Kings
Best common naturals: CocoNara

not sure what common brand means, but CH QLs (imo) are the best quicklights ever. they impart no taste, but they do smell like fireworks when you light them...but, i never understood why they get dinged for that since lighting the coals never has any effect on my sessions. although, your house would smell quite off if you were to light them in your house.

If I was smoking outdoors, I'll grab a CH QL and a torch lighter. Indoors, I like my canarys.

I go back and forth sometimes with natural and sometimes quick-lites for a long time now. For me the quick lites are more expedient, I smoke a lot and I don't like to spend the time playing with the natural coals.

I have a nice bag of natural coals but I use them on campus and not at home cuz at home I have no coil burner and I hate lighting the finger style naturals with a gas burner. IN any case I use quicklights almost exclusively now since I just feel that naturals are too much hassle and I can get a box of 3kings for $10 so its all good
