Which Is The Best Melon?

Recommended Posts

Hello HF sleep.gif

I want to find a brand with a really good melon / cantaloup flavor. So far I've tryed Nakhla's Sweet Melon, which is great but I wish that the flavor was a bit stronger, and Af's Melon which I find to be awfull.

What brand do you guys think I should try next? I've read that Fusion's and Tangiers's versions are pretty good.

Unfortunatly there is almost always somebody that doesn't even bother to read the original post properly before replying, so I'll repeat myself.

I did find Nakhla Sweet Melon to be a great smoke, and I bought recently a 250g box of it.

I obviously get the SM to smoke right. After all it is Nakhla, the brand that I smoke the most and the easiest brand to smoke overall.

I'm just looking for a stronger melon flavor. I don't need advice such as "Wow you didn't like nakhla sm?! you must be retarded".

Thanks for those who have tryed to help constructively though

actually, i agree with the OP. while nak sweet melon is good, the flavor strength compared to tangiers melon blend is really lacking. melon blend has very bold flavor, however...i don't really love it. it's good, but not great.

i actually haven't found a melon flavor that i love yet...so, if you find one 4d1ct3d, let me know.

but, as for recommendations - tangiers melon blend(OG) is definitely worth a shot... Edited by arcane

I hate how everyone attacks people if they don't like nahkla because they obviously did something wrong. Shut up!

OT: Starbuzz Safari Melon Dew is nice

its more like the other way around. tangiers lacks flavour and tastes mostly like tobacco, while nakhla has an actual cantaloupe flavour.

then you aren't getting your melon blend to smoke quite right. when i pack melon blend, people complain it's too sweet and has too much flavor (yes, weird i know). they also complain that the flavor stays in your mouth. nakhla is good and does taste like cantaloupe, but the flavor doesn't kick you in the mouth. it's noticeably there...that's about it.

trust me, i know what i`m doing. and its definately tangiers`s fault and not mine. i would say that if you think tangiers has more flavour than nakhla that you are doing something because nakhla sweet melon has a very strong, almost overpowering taste

What about fusion melon? Has anyone tryed fusion sweet melon?

I've had the melon flavors Fusion offers and they're not very impressive. I felt like they were about the worst of the line, tasted generically like sugar. Try Tangiers if you didn't like Nakhla or AF.

I think the Nakhla is about as strong a cantaloupe flavor as you'll find anywhere. Perhaps you should purchase another 250g pack from the web because the differences between packs can be great at times. With sweet melon, you want a DRIER shisha as opposed to a wetter one. Trust me on this. You wont get storm clouds but the flavor will literally kick you between the teeth.

How strong do you want it? I dont know any shisha including tangiers that leaves so much flavor in your mouth that you feel like there's actual melon or blueberries or whatever in there. A lot of times, for me, its the essence of the flavor that you get, not so much a clear and present taste.

To summarize: If you're looking for a taste, eating a cantaloupe is going to be your best bet and probably healthier for you. If you're looking for good flavor, Nakhla is the strongest you'll get anywhere.

eh...i might give it a shot again...somebody WAS supposed to pick me up a kilo tin of it. wink.gif haha, jk Bulldog! but, actually my Sweet Melon was stickier/wetter than my Mizo/Sherezade. is that not right?

i have no desire to purchase it atm, but once a melon craving hits...i'll grab some sweet melon instead of melon blend, and give it another go around.

i just got a kilo tin of nakhla sweet melon - this is the shit. i'm so glad i bought it, and for 22 bucks it was a hell of a buy.

ummmm let me think about this...1000g nakhla sweet melon for $22 or 250g of overpriced shit in a metal tin...for more money?
Uhhh nakhla sm - no shit.
