Berked
QUOTE (lowspeedchase @ Jun 8 2009, 12:00 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>So my question: Is there a way I can "cut" the effect of Tangiers a little?Don't try to "cut" the effect of Tangiers at all, no, you should "cut" this girl from the equation. Problem solved. J/k.No, but seriously... I don't even bother busting out the Tangy when I know girls will be smoking my hookah. It saves a ton of it, and it's a great way for me get rid of any old Starbuzz I have laying around not being smoked, haha. I'm just glad my GF doesn't have a problem with Tangiers. F-Line Kashmir is one of her favorites.

Rani
Once her throat started bothering her, you were done for. It's really hard to completely recover from that in the same session. You need to go the other way - start with Starbuzz or Fusion, move up to Lucid and then Tangiers Noir. Interestingly enough I find that Al Waha is one of the least irritating to me anyway. You might want to try that because being unwashed it still packs a buzz.'Rani

My local store has 100's of boxes of Al Waha on clearance because nobody will buy it . 1 dollar a 50g box lmao!!Although, doesn't mean you won't like it my friend. evilded777
I dunno... us hookah folks can be such snobs.I love Al Waha Bounty, 5 Stars, Bahraini Molasses, and probably a couple of others. Its no Nahkla, but for a drier shisha its pretty good. Bounty tastes like smoking a Mounds bar.Hey Joe... they got any big tubs at that store where its on clearance? I'll take some! contristo
as BohoWildChild said, slowly moving her up among the tier of harsher tobaccos is probably the way to go.i didn't have to do that when i met my girlfriend, since she knew more about hookah than i did at the time haha. she's a big fan of nakhla, but i can't wait for her to try some tangiers. she loves it when she makes the trip down to jersey and i have a bunch of new flavors for her to try.smoking with your girl is great... nothing like enjoying a nice hookah with the best company in the world.
