Scalliwag
I picked these up tonite out of morbid curiousity and they were only $3.50 a kilo. It's too late for me to try them tonite but I figure I would check with you guys. Bamboo charcoal does not sound real promising but I may be wrong. They are very dense fingers about an inch round and 6 inches long. No smell at least in the box.
Scalliwag
well I lied. If impatience was a virtue I'd be a saint I broke an inch off and lit it fairly quick with my propane torch. No smell or taste. Not usre how long it will burn and won't find ot tonite but I'm pleasantly surprised so far.

Bulldog_916
Please do let us know! I saw these at the local market and was a little iffy on them. So if you could keep us updated, I'd appreciate it.
Scalliwag
They burned really well. Easier to light than all the coco's I've tried. Seems like a lot of ash but I'm not real familiar with what to expect from natural coals.
