Vladimir
I was looking at hookahs breifly this evening and noticed these Tamseh at HookahJohn, I don't recall seeing then before. Other than the ridiculous tray problem John highlighted in his video they look pretty sweet. Anyone given one a try? This is mostly out of curiosity as at this point if I decide to add another hookah to my hobby it will probably be a QT or comparable since I frequently smoke alone now and the 3 foot egyptian can be a little overkill (don't get me wrong it smokes great, but sometimes the cleaning is overkill for a quick hour smoke alone ).EDIT: Oh and the hose does seem odd. I have only smoked cheapo hoses but I cannot fathom a reasoning for making the ends removable when the hose isn't washable? Eric talked about unloading them from the shipment HC received a while back, if i'm not mistaken; he said they smoked very well. to my knowledge the tray problem only affects the tri-metal temseh model, not the wheat one which you have pictured. Arcane
John from HookahJohn e-mailed me and said they're about the same quality-wise especially since the parts are made by the same people or something like that...
maestroelite
As far as the removable tips go, if my two KM hoses had removable tips I'd probably still have full tips now. I had the ends of the plastic tips snap off within 24 hours of owning each. I didn't even get to smoke my KM 'AS' hose with the full tip once before it met its demise. Haven't heard of this happening to anyone else but if it happened to both of my hoses that quickly I would say its a real possibility. Never seen a tip from a removable tip hose break, they just fall out.

I don't let anyone use that hose anymore l:
no longer welcome
I snagged a KM "AS" hose for personal use a while back and broke it within the first few minutes. I packed a hookah, placed the handle on my chair, did something and came back and sat on it...it snapped.
Sonthert
That particular Thamseh is pretty good. I use one to smoke white grape out of. Overall, they're disappointing. You take the tips out, wash them and its almost as good as washing your whole hose (Use a thin brush)
